Yes. We provide Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) for homeowners, landlords and businesses. Your electrical installation is inspected and tested, and you’ll receive a report detailing its condition and any observations identified.

An EICR, or Electrical Installation Condition Report, assesses the condition and safety of an electrical installation. The report records the results of the inspection and testing and identifies any issues using the appropriate classification codes.

Yes. We undertake electrical repairs and fault finding, from faulty sockets, switches and lights to tripping circuits and other electrical faults. Small jobs are welcome.

The cost depends on the charger, cable route, distance from the consumer unit, electrical protection required and the existing installation. D&R Electropro can assess your property and provide a quotation for your home EV charger installation.

The lowest-cost installation is usually a straightforward installation with a short cable route and a suitable existing electrical supply. Longer cable runs, additional electrical work and difficult cable routes can increase the price. We can provide a quotation based on your property and requirements.

Yes. D&R Electropro installs domestic EV charging points. We can assess the existing electrical supply, install the required equipment and complete the necessary electrical testing and certification.

Yes. We can install, replace and fault-find wired doorbells and their associated electrical supplies.

Yes. We install and replace fuse boards and consumer units, including upgrades of older installations to modern consumer units with appropriate circuit protection. All work is tested and certified where required.

Yes. We install and connect electric cookers, ovens and hobs. We can also assess the existing circuit and upgrade or install the electrical supply where required for the new appliance.

Yes. We can install electrical supplies to summer houses, garden rooms, sheds and other outbuildings, including sockets, lighting, consumer units and external electrical supplies.

Yes. We install and replace extractor fans in bathrooms, kitchens and other areas requiring ventilation, including new electrical supplies and controls where required.

Yes. We install and replace electric showers and can provide the necessary electrical circuit, isolation and protection where required. The existing electrical installation will be checked to ensure it is suitable for the shower being installed.

Our standard fault-finding callout is £85. We will investigate the electrical fault, carry out testing to identify the cause and advise you of any repairs or further work required.

Yes. We install outdoor lighting and external sockets, including security lights, garden lighting, wall lights and weather-resistant sockets. Installations are provided with appropriate outdoor-rated equipment and electrical protection.

Yes. We can install, replace and upgrade smoke alarms, heat alarms and fire alarm systems. We can advise on suitable alarm types and positioning for your property and complete the necessary electrical installation and testing.

Yes. If you have purchased your own CCTV cameras or system, we can provide a labour-only installation price. We can also quote to supply and install a complete CCTV system.

Yes. For many electrical jobs we can provide a quote or initial estimate from photographs and a description of the work. Simply WhatsApp us, email us or use the contact form on our website.

Of course. Once the first fix is complete, we return when you are ready for the second fix. We ask for 50% payment after completion of the first fix, with the remaining balance payable following completion of the agreed work.

No. For most electrical work, we don’t require an upfront payment and payment is due on completion. Different payment stages may apply to larger projects such as rewires.

Yes. If you would prefer to supply your own electrical accessories or equipment, we can provide a labour-only quotation. Alternatively, we can quote to supply and install everything required, so you can compare both options.
